Grace is two months old now. She had her shots last week. Trey was out of town and I couldn't take any more time off of work, so Grandma was nice enough to take her. She was 11 lbs. 7 oz and 22 inches long. Not too shabby. I thought she was chunky, but met a woman at church whose baby was 8 weeks old and 13.5 lbs. She's already wearing 6 mo. clothes! WOW! She and Grace were both born at 7lbs 1 oz.
Things are going well. The school year is coming to an end (whew!), and I'm making the mad dash to enter grades. I should find out on Friday if I'll continue teaching English III next year. My students are hoping I'll move with them, but I don't have much of an interest in teaching seniors. Too hard to motivate them!
Trey had a blast this weekend hanging out with our friend, Carlos. They floated the river, hung out downtown, and even took a day to go on a long motorcycle ride.
More pictures to come and possibly a video if I can figure out how to load it on here! :)
This is the first captured smile. Isn't she beautiful? Here you can see the newest addition, the "angel kiss" birthmark on her lower lip. The doctor says it will shrink with time and will eventually disappear. I hope so!
I almost got a giggle out of her!
Grace sure loves Ranger! We were hanging out at my parents and Trey was holding her in the recliner. Ranger's been very patient with her.
